Teachers & Helpers Wanted!
We are seeking loving adults who feel called to share God's word with his children. Easy to follow curriculum helps teachers feel confident in leading the children in 9:45 a.m. Sunday School. Children's Worship leaders and helpers also needed for 11:00 a.m.
Children's Church at 11:00 a.m.:
- Agape Worship – Teacher & Helper (3rd – 5th) – Two Sundays p/Month

Volunteer Job Descriptions
Sunday School
Sunday school for three year olds through 5th grades is offered at 9:45-10:45 a.m. in the children's hall.
We provide a curriculum that has a complete lesson plan incorporating scripture theme, story, and activities
Sunday School Coordinator
Works closely with the Minister of Children and Families to oversee the Sunday school programming. Distributes curriculum, encourages teachers and assistants, helps to arrange training, and works to keep the volunteers connected through effective communication.
Sunday School Teacher
Weekly preparation: Review and prepare lesson from provided curriculum that is easy to follow. Request necessary supplies from our supply volunteer.
Sunday morning: Be in your classroom 15 minutes prior to start time. Greet the children as they arrive. Fill-in the attendance book. Share the lesson. Dismiss children.
Sunday School Assistant
Assist the teacher with her responsibilities. Often times you will be an extra set of hands to help keep the children focused during the lesson.
Substitute Teacher
Performs the duties of a teacher in her/his absence.
Children's Church
We have five age levels for Children's Church:
- Wee Worship – Three and Four year olds
- Pre-K Worship – Pre-K
- Kindergarten Worship – Kndergarten
- Children's Worship – 1st and 2nd grades
- Agape Worship – 3rd-5th grades
Children's Church volunteers can commit to one Sunday a month or more!
Children's Church Leader

Children's Church Helper

Compass Points
Sunday Afternoons and is programming for elementary age children. We together to present our story and bible verse. Next, we break down into age groups and rotate to games, journaling and projects. Our goal is to help the children grow in their relationship with the Lord. They learn scripture while having fun!
Leader
Weekly preparation: Review and prepare lesson from provided curriculum that is easy to follow. Request necessary supplies from our supply volunteer.
Helpers
- Age level assistants are shepherds for the groups.
- Rotation area assistants help with games, journaling or projects.
- Attendance assistant greets children and makes sure that check-in goes smoothly.
Nursery
We provide nursery on Sunday mornings for our worship services. We have a nursery manager and staff , but need many extra loving arms to hold our sweet babies!
Nursery Volunteer
Commit to one hour, one Sunday a month. Be on time for shift. If you are unable to be there, please arrange to swap with another volunteer or call a substitute. You will hold babies, play with toddlers, and love these children with the love of Christ.
