Chancel Choir

The Chancel Choir is a mixed, non-auditioned chorus that leads the congregation in worship at the 11:00 a.m. Traditional Worship Service. The choir sings year-round and rehearses on Wednesday evenings from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. in the sanctuary. Child care is always provided. Selections are chosen to reflect the seasons and the liturgical year drawing from a large variety of musical genres including Gospel, African-American Spirituals, Traditional Folk Tunes, Hymns, and Classical. Major presentations include the annual Christmas and Easter Cantatas. Come and sing with us!

Archive: Follow members of our KUMC Chancel Choir to to Germany and France for our choir mission trip. The trip, known as "An American Salute", is being hosted by Joseph Martin through Harmony International. We have been planning and preparing for this trip since early in 2010.

The Covenant Choir

The Covenant Choir is a mixed, non-auditioned chorus that leads the congregation in worship at the 8:30 a.m. Traditional Worship Service. The choir sings year-round and rehearses on Sunday mornings from 7:45 - 8:30 a.m. in room No. 217. If you like to attend an early worship service and cannot attend a mid-week rehearsal, then this is the choir for you. Let's worship God with Music!

Barbershop Ensemble

The Men's Barbershop ensemble is open to any adult male regardless of musical background or experience. The focus of the group is to learn to develop the characteristic sound of a traditional barbershop quartet on a larger scale. The primary performance goals of this exciting new group is to present at the end-of-the-school-year Family Ice Cream Social in May and occasional special music opportunities in some worship services. Rehearsal is on Monday Evenings from 7:15pm to 8:00pm.
