Stoned Like Stephen

The role of Stoned Like Stephens (SLS), our Youth Praise Band is to lead our youth and adult leaders in worship during our Sunday night gatherings as well as occasionally lead during the Contemporary Service. Under direction of the Band Coordinator, SLS works closely with the Minister of Youth to pick songs that tie in with the evening's message and help connect our audience even closer to the throne of God. The group is open to all 6th-12th grade youth.

The band is comprised of vocalists, guitar, bass guitar, and precussion; however, opportunities may arise from time to time for those that play other instruments to be included. Those who don't play one of these instruments and want to learn are welcome to come to practice and receive limited instruction. Though the band consists completely of students, there are opportunities for adults to get involved in set-up, supervision, instruction, and sound engineer. Stone Like Stephen rehearses weekly before our Sunday Night Programming from 3:30-5pm. If interested please contact Paul Scheeser, Minister of Youth.
