Visitation Team – Whether sending out weekly cards to visitors or inactive members or being
part of the visitation of First Time visitors, those on the Evangelism team have a heart for
reaching this community for Christ. Did someone come to your house the first time you
visited? Would you have liked them to? Then join this wonderful ministry.

Hospitality Team – This team greets and welcomes visitors and members to our church on
Sunday morning before one of our Sunday services.

Beautification Team – This team works to keep KUMC beautiful and inviting with outdoor
flowers/plants maintenance, seasonal decorations in special areas in and around the church.

Pastor’s Coffee – One is in charge of our monthly time for visitors to meet the pastors and
staff of KUMC. This team provides light refreshments and a hospitable atmosphere for
visitors following the 11:00 AM worship on the first Sunday of the month.

Pew Partners – These servants straighten the Sunday pews following the 11:00 AM worship
service and sometimes during the week.

Scouting Ministries – A Cub Scout Pack and a Venture Crew are both based here at KUMC.
Have a 1st-5th Grade boy who is interested in Cub Scouts? Or do you have a male or female
student 14 (and completed 8th grade) to 20 interested in scouting and outdoor activities?

Communications Team – From helping design advertisements to stuff direct mailings to
helping keep the website updated, this team works with a variety of advertising and

Sports and Leisure Ministry – KUMC has a long history of loving sporting events! From
Over-35 Volleyball on Tuesday Nights to College-Aged Basketball on Wednesdays to our award
winning softball teams, there’s a sport for everyone. Would you rather find an exercise
program? Then we offer Zumba on Wednesday Mornings at 9:15 and Senior Weight Training
on Monday and Thursdays at 1:30 PM.

Grief Share – Aimed at those who are dealing with Grief, this group meets weekly to share
their experiences.

Parkinson Support Group – People with Parkinson’s and/or their caretakers meet on the
second Thursday, monthly.

MOPS– “Mothers of Preschoolers” – This group gathers at 9: 30 AM, on the first and third
Tuesday, for fellowship, to share prayers, and to discuss parenting tips. Nursery Available.

Operation Mail Call – Operation Mail Call gathers names and addresses of people serving in
the armed forces, arranges cards for the congregation to correspond, and mails them to our
troops.
