What:
Kennesaw
United Methodist Church has entered into an agreement with Cokesbury to host a
virtual bookstore on their web site.
Why:
Congregations
are becoming more and more demanding when it comes to accessing religious and
family oriented resources via the internet. By entering into an
agreement with Cokesbury we are able to get access to their products,
including on-line purchases. In turn they are able to get access to
our members who have a potential interest in their products. (Note: We
do not provide Cokesbury with our membership information. Contact can
only be made if the member clicks on the link and personally provides
Cokesbury with information.)
Cost:
The church
pays nothing for this arrangement. Cokesbury maintains sole
responsibility for fulfilling all financial obligations during and after
purchases are made. Instead the church receives a rebate
of 5% on qualifying purchases made via the church link. This
rebate will be used towards missions within the church.
What is not a qualifying
purchase: Curriculum, Official Denominational Products, Clothing and
Electronic Downloads.
Benefits: The
prices are identical if you click on our link at
www.kennesawumc.org
or if you go directly to
www.cokesbury.com. The difference is if you go to cokesbury via our web page the
church receives a 5% rebate on qualified purchases.
