Financial Peace University

Financial Peace University is the most important step to changing your financial future. It is your Total Money Makeover Program. It takes the knowledge from God and turns it into real action in our lives through a step-by-step process taught by best-selling author and financial counselor Dave Ramsey. Classes begin February 19th at 7pm. Registration Information

Shrove Pancake Supper

Join us Tuesday, February 21st from 6-7pm in the CAC for our Supper. Shrove Tuesday is a day when we have a feast of pancakes. During Lent many Christians perform fasting or abstinence from sweet things. Gluten-free and sugar free options will be available upon request.

Ash Wednesday Celebrations

Join us on Wednesday, February 22nd for the beginning of Lend, our season of repentance and drawing nearer to Christ. This year we are offering two chances to receive ashes:

  • 7am - 9am at Starbucks on Wade Green Rd. Emily will be there to pray with you and give out ashes. Come with a repentant heart and open mind.
  • 7pm will be our annual rememberance at the church. The choir will sing, the Word will be proclaimed, and Ashes will be imparted. Come and join us for this time to draw nearer to our Holy God.

United Methodist Children's Home Spaghetti Luncheon

Join us on Sunday, March 4th for the Christian Growth Sunday School Class annual spaghetti luncheon to benefit the United Methodist Children's Home starting at 11am in the CAC.


Pastor’s Coffee 

Pastor’s Coffee will be on Sunday, February March 4th following the 11:00 a.m. worship service in the parlor. All visitors and prospective new members are invited to join us for this time to meet the staff, have your questions answered and enjoy a brief tour of the church.

Camp Glisson 


Summer 2012 registration is underway for KUMC members. Five programs are being offered this summer. Give your child a uniquely powerful opportunity for growth in 2012. If you are a returning 2011 camper, your registration information should already be in the system.
